Last week I was on vacation, working around the house. The one big project I finally finished was putting ceramic tile on the bathroom floor. I began the project quite some time ago, and just needed to finish the tiles around the edges where they needed to be cut.
When I was finished, there were newly placed tiles across the entrance to the bathroom. The instructions for laying the tiles said that no one should step on the tiles for twenty-four hours. So I instructed my family to leap over the threshold of the bathroom.
Now I wonder: By doing that, did I make them into Dagon worshipers and are then now subject to punishment?

Wouldn’t they land in the bathtub if they lept over the threshhold? Well, they’d crash into the shower door first. But, no, Dagon worship there. Motive counts the most.

Thanks, N.J.
R.C. Sproul asked what the Philistines said when they came into their temple and found the idol prostrate in front of the ark of the covenant. Answer: “Dagon, he fell again!”

Rats, I got that comma in the wrong place! It’s supposed to be, No Dagon worship there.
