Headline BBC News: Ice lake found on the Red Planet

A giant patch of frozen water has been pictured nestled within an unnamed impact crater on Mars.

The photographs were taken by the High Resolution Stereo Camera on board Mars Express, the European Space Agency probe which is exploring the planet.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe it’s because the hockey lockout has just ended and after a year of no hockey, I’m looking forward to its return. But something about this newly discovered frozen pond on Mars seems ideal for the game.
