Doctor who interviewed accuser says Jackson no pedophile.
This is a little confusing since there have been nine of them, counting the new one BBC is about to release. Which one did the interview? The article doesn’t say. I like to think it was my favorite: the fourth.
The only thing you can do easily is be wrong, and that’s hardly worth the effort.
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
Q.23. How is Christ our redeemer?
A. As our redeemer, Christ is a prophet, priest, and king in both His humiliation and His exaltation.
Moses tells the Israelites that God will send the Prophet who will bring God’s word to the people. The Israelites looked for this Prophet who was to come. As we read this, we understand that Moses was speaking of Jesus.
Deuteronomy 18:15-18
15 “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers–it is to him you shall listen– 16 just as you desired of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ 17 And the LORD said to me, ‘They are right in what they have spoken. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.”
The author to the Hebrews writes much about the priesthood of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 7:23-28
22 This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
23 The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24 but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. 25 Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
26 For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. 28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.
But in addition to being our Prophet and Priest, Jesus Christ is also our King who sits above all other kings.
Psalm 2
1Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the LORD and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.
5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “As for me, I have set my King
on Zion, my holy hill.”
7 I will tell of the decree:
The LORD said to me, “You are my Son;
today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
Why does Syracuse Basketball coach always have that whiney look? For every foul against his team, he gets that look that seems to ask why everyone always picks on him.
Well, sorry the call went against you on that one Jim, but congratulations on winning the Big East Tournament.

While watching Syracuse play UConn in the Big East Semi-finals, ESPN cut away to show Pacific win their Big West game against Cal State Northridge. As the game ended, the announcer said:
Pacific hangs on to win by the skin of their chinnee-chin-chin.
At least they didn’t win by the hair of their teeth.

Here’s a baseball term I’ve never heard before.
Headline Tribune Review: Santiago fitting in well with young Bucs
[Benito] Santiago has played more than 18 years in the major leagues and has no plans of slowing down.
“I don’t see retirement now or in the future,” he said. “It’s not there.”
Still, Santiago has outlasted his expectations when he broke into the major leagues in 1986 as a hot-shot receiver with the San Diego Padres.
Does anyone call a baseball catcher a receiver? I’ve never heard it before. If a Benito Santiago is a receiver, does that make Randy Johnson a quarterback?
