This evening I went to hop into the 17 year old emergency backup car, and someone had pulled out some tissues and papers out of the garbage bag and shredded them on the seat. I remembered that last time I hopped in, someone had done the same thing. "Who’s made this mess? I clean it up, and they make it again. It makes no sense," I grumbled.

As I cleaned it up again this time, I noticed that there were the remains of an apple core shredded all over the seat also, and all of the sudden I realized what was happening. As I looked closely, sure enough there were mouse droppings on the seat as well.

Somehow, mice are climbing up through the body and into the car and are getting into the garbage inside the car. I’ve known we have mice getting into the garage, but it is an external, stand alone garage. I know not to keep anything in there that will be a problem if mice get into it. But I never thought they would be getting inside the car.

We have Rodents Of Usual Size in our car!
